Sarah's Story

I just keep looking at everything thinking I hope I don’t wake up and it’s a dream because everything is just perfect. All of the furnishings Rehouse to Rehome have given us are so lovely, this is the happiest we have all felt in years and it’s all because of the loveliest woman and her amazing charity.

Me and my children was in a refuge just short of 15 months because we had to leave our home and run from my abusive husband, since the day we ran we haven’t had a home. We had to leave everything we had in our old house and my ex husband didn’t even want to give his own children there clothes but eventually he did.

I just want to say what an amazing woman Francine is and I just don’t know how to say thankyou enough for what she has done for me and my children. Now for the first time in 15 months we are all sat watching television and without Francine we would still be in a refuge and spending Christmas there too. Rehouse to Rehome have got us everything, its so lovely to be sat in our own home and in time for Christmas.

We all have big smiles on our faces and it feels like we’re on a holiday but only better. We have all had a bath with our bubble bath from Francine and put our PJ’s on to sit in front of the television.

I just keep looking at everything thinking I hope I don’t wake up and it’s a dream because everything is just perfect. All of the furnishings Rehouse to Rehome have given us are so lovely, this is the happiest we have all felt in years and it’s all because of the loveliest woman and her amazing charity.

Thank you for doing all this for me and my family and just being so kind to us. You have made us all feel normal again and you have given us our life back. This day will never be forgotten and now we can all look forward and try to forget and leave all the nasty stuff behind.

I just cant thank you enough.
