Our Crafty Classes

Craft has the power to stimulate, inspire, occupy and soothe all of us. ​Craft class and workshops are a wonderful way for us all to learn a new skill, meet new people and also take some time for ourselves, doing something fun and enjoyable.

Craft is great therapy and a really lovely way of slowing down and focusing our mind on something and we come away with something we’ve made from scratch. ​ In our fast-paced modern world, we need craft more than ever. We have looked at the therapeutic benefits of craft for both our mental and physical health and found that craft help many people to recover from traumatic life events, relieve stress, build self esteem and find moments of calm.

Craft can act as an antidote to our increasingly screen-based lives, by using our hands to create takes us away from it all and allows our mind and body to relax. Having time-out from our screens, magazines and social media, and taking up craft is an excellent way to improve mental wellbeing in younger people and adults.
