Kim's Story

In April I ran out of my house covered in blood after my husband beat me and since then I’v moved round different hostels and refuges.
He changed me and then completely broke me.

slowly he took away my confidence then my friends, family, my Job, my independence, all my rights, my worth, my strength, my mind and then he beat me.
He left me with nothing but now I’m determined that he’s not stealing another day of my life.
Today I’v moved in to my own house and it’s only because of this charity that I’v been able to move.
I had literally nothing and rehouse to rehome have given me everything that I needed and I feel like I’v got a fresh start.
I wouldn’t be sat in my lovely new home without this charity helping me and I just wanted to say I will never forget this day so thank you so much to everyone who helps out and makes all this possible.
You have been a god send.
